More about Faith

MMO is just one of many ministries at Faith Presbyterian Church. Kid's Quest Club, for ages 4 through 5th grade, begins this fall and will continue throughout the school year. This is a great chance for kids to be introduced to the church and encounter God in a fun, caring environment through learning the Bible, singing, doing crafts and having fun with friends. Kid's Quest will meet Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30. The start date will be announced soon.

If you have students in middle or high school, Faith has a very active Student Ministry, led by our Student and Childrens Pastor, Steven Brooks, and his team. Our middle school group meets on Wednesday evenings from 6-7:30, and our high school students meet for fellowship and study on Sunday evenings from 6-8:00. There are weekly Bible studies for youth, and a full calendar of opportunities for fun and to impact the community.

Adults at Faith are encouraged to join small groups for Bible study, fellowship and encouragement. Home-based community groups meet on a regular basis. Women in the Church (WIC) gather every Wednesday from 9:30 until noon. Childcare is provided. Contact MMO teacher Jodi Bergstrom for more information- (j.bergstrom@charter.net) Men in the Church (MIC) meet on Wednesday mornings at 6:45am at Mamas Boy Restaurant, Tuesdays at 7:30am at Jittery Joe's in Watkinsville, and Thursdays at 11:30 for lunch at Bretts on Atlanta Hwy. Contact Chip Pettigrew for more information (chippettigrew@bellsouth.net). A church-wide Bible study video series takes place each Wednesday evening at the church during youth programs.

Faith has two Sunday morning worship services, at 8:30 and 11:00 led by Senior Pastor, Bob McAndrew. Childcare for infants and toddlers is available. Between the services, Sunday School is provided for all ages. Children meet together at 9:45 for a time of group singing before they go with a great team of teachers to their individual classes. Childrens Church takes place during the 11:00 service.

Whether you are a life-long Believer, just beginning your Christian walk, or still spiritually seeking, you are welcomed at Faith. As a church body, we are seeking to love God, to love each other, and to love our neighbor by the grace of God through Jesus Christ. We invite you to join us as we seek to grow and be a light in this community.

The church is not a theological classroom. It is a conversion, confession, repentance, reconciliation, forgiveness, and sanctification center, where flawed people place their trust in Christ, gather to know and love him better, and learn to love others as he has designed. The church is messy and inefficient, but it is God's wonderful mess -- the place where he radically transforms hearts and lives.
